Professor Manuela Maia, a lecturer from ECAIC, took part in an International Mobility action in Hungary

Manuela Maia, a faculty member from ECAIC – School of Communication, Arts and Creative Industries of ISEC Lisboa, was in Hungary where she participated in the International Mobility action, which took place on March 20th, 21st, and 22nd at Óbuda University, at the Rejtő Sándor Faculty of Light Industry and Environmental Engineering.

During these days, the ECAIC professor taught classes to groups of students from 12 different nationalities, spanning Europe, Africa, South America, and Asia. All were Product Design students, also specializing in packaging, in their second year of studies.

This group consisted of students who had a scholarship from the Hungarian government, known as the Stipendium Hungaricum Group, as well as Erasmus students.

The sessions held provided the students with the opportunity to discuss and debate ideas on sustainability, particularly the role of design and the importance of communication in the transition to more sustainable lifestyles.

The students actively participated in the open discussions, bringing different dimensions of the topic to the debate, which made the theme even richer and more comprehensive.
