Between 14 and 18 July 2025, the International Relations Office at ISEC Lisbon organised the second edition of International Staff Week, an initiative promoted as part of the Master’s Degree in Sustainability and Air Transport Management and the Erasmus+ Programme. The event brought together representatives from European partner institutions with the aim of sharing experiences, reflecting together and strengthening international cooperation in the area of sustainability in air transport.
With the theme ‘Sustainability in Air Transport,’ the edition addressed the challenges and solutions for greener aviation, in line with the ecological transition and technological innovation in the sector. During the week, participants attended lectures and thematic sessions conducted by guest lecturers from the Estonian Aviation Academy, Riga Aeronautical Institute, University of Applied Sciences Velika Gorica, and Erciyes University.
The presentations focused on the main challenges facing the sector and explored innovative solutions to promote sustainable aviation. In addition to academic activities, participants also visited the ISEC Lisbon facilities, identifying synergies for future collaborations and driving innovation in higher education.
