ISEC Lisbon organises the 1st International Staff Week, promoting Mobility and International Cooperation

Between 14 and 18 October, ISEC Lisbon hosted the 1st International Staff Week, a pioneering initiative organised by the institution’s International Relations Office (GRI). Coordinated by Dr Noémia Justino and Dr Rita Pepe, this week of international academic exchange brought together 15 participants from various universities, representing a total of six countries (Italy, Turkey, Poland, Romania, Hungary and Lithuania), with the aim of sharing best practices and fostering cooperation in the field of international mobility.

The week featured workshops, debates and presentations, encouraging reflection on the challenges and opportunities of international mobility, with a focus on innovative strategies such as Blended Intensive Programmes (BIP). The event stood out for its approach to digitalisation and virtual mobility in a programme that included networking and sharing opportunities, such as the Global Food Village, providing the opportunity to explore global cuisine and strengthen ties between institutions.

This 1st International Week dedicated to International Relations Offices culminated in the awarding of certificates and the development of an action plan for future collaborations, marking ISEC Lisbon’s commitment to expanding its international networks and boosting its presence on the global educational scene.
