The ISEC Lisboa team of the Teaching To Be Project (T2B), represented by professors Ana Barqueira, Isabel Baltazar, José Reis-Jorge, and Patrícia Pacheco, participated in the 5th and final partners’ meeting of the project, held in Riga, Latvia, between January 29th and 30th. The main objectives of the meeting were the evaluation and closure of the project.
The first day was marked by reflection on the implementation of T2B in each of the 8 participating countries, with each team having the opportunity to list the main challenges and goals achieved during the project’s three-year duration. Based on the analysis of the qualitative and quantitative results obtained, the first common global conclusions for all countries were drawn, as well as specific conclusions for each national context. Finally, project quality assurance was addressed, along with the status of the PAR Guide development.
On the second day, recommendations for policies promoting teacher well-being were presented based on the research results. Following this, there was space for an extended discussion about the analysis of the data collected after the project’s conclusion and the status of the various materials that should be completed by the T2B closing date, at the end of February.
