SKILLS TO BE DEVELOPED

Develop and provide technical support to graphic projects; provide technical support in any of the specific sectors of the production of printed graphic materials and digital publications (technical preparation of originals, technical adjustment, standardization, technological adaptation, color management and final art); help in the preparation of budgets; help in the management and technical supervision of the production process, control, selection; help in the management of printing materials, control and coordination of the shipment of the finished product; ensure the technical and logistical connection with the customer and suppliers, quality management and application of industry standards, and compliance with environmental protection norms.

SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES

Plan the production of graphic objects and products; control the preparation of original files for reproduction and publication; manage color reproduction in graphic processes; manage supports, paints and materials to be used in the production process; organize and supervise production and prepress processes; collaborate in the management of quality and prepress processes; collaborate in the management of safety and environmental protection in printing processes.

EQUIPMENT AND TEACHING MATERIAL

Windows and MacOs computer equipment; Adobe software (graphic and multimedia production); several graphic and digital production equipment; color management equipment; materials needed for the graphic production process; projection equipment; related bibliography.
